The organization of container transports.
(1.1) The individual shipment comprises 5 packages of approximately 20 kg each, totaling 100 kg including packaging. (The total weight must not exceed 100 kg). Due to container capacity limitations, all packages must not exceed a circumference of 90 cm . This means the longest and shortest sides combined must not exceed 90 cm.
(1.2) Shipments may contain all items for personal, non-commercial use. Current Cuban law stipulates that food, hygiene products, disinfectants, baby food, and clothing, in non-commercial quantities, can be imported duty-free for personal use only. You will receive a detailed list of permitted products after booking your transport.
In addition to your 5 packages, you can send us one more package containing medication (free of charge) if needed! This will be added to your shipment in Cuba. (See description after booking transport)
(1.3) Anyone familiar with Cuba and its specific local conditions will understand that things can become very complicated. For this reason, we must clearly point out that in cases of commercial misuse (for example, sending 400 tubes of toothpaste, 200 nail polishes, cell phones, and electronics – just as an example), you can assume that the shipment will almost certainly be confiscated by customs and will never reach its recipient. Reimbursement is excluded in cases of misuse. Furthermore, you will be blocked from booking any future shipments with us. We strive to maintain the trust of the local authorities by handling shipments properly, with a view to future shipments. We do this to continue improving the lives of our families and friends.
(1.4) As a prospective client for a shipment, you will receive a detailed description of the process and the declaration of goods, especially medications (drug laws). You will also receive a list of possible products and urgently needed goods.
(1.5) The cost for transporting 100 kg from the shipping warehouse in Germany to the recipient's door in Cuba (or collection point at the recipient's place of residence) is currently €243.90. Should this change due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be informed immediately and your transport order will no longer be binding.
The process
- The shipments are carried out several times a year, depending on the number of shippers. The next shipment is planned for late February/early March 2026.
- After booking, you will receive an email with the exact procedure.
- The cost for one transport (5 x 20 kg = 100 kg) currently amounts to €243.90
- Should the order be cancelled for reasons attributable to us, the full amount will be refunded to you! However, if the booked shipment fails to take place due to your fault, a refund is excluded.
- To book transport, you must a member of the association .
We had intended to offer this option to non-members as well, but due to legal (tax) regulations, this is not possible for us as a non-profit organization. Membership €20.00 per year. (See Membership .)
Transport booking
(At this point, we would like to reiterate that all payments related to transport, including partial payments, must be made directly to our logistics partners or forwarded directly to them. As a non-profit organization, we are merely an intermediary/organizer without any economic interest of our own.)
- To book transport, you must be a member of the association, Envios de Paz.
- Please fill out the booking form and submit it.
- Click the "Pay now" button and you will be redirected.
- Please pay the amount of €243.90 due at the time of booking
- You will receive a booking confirmation from us via email and a detailed description of the process.
- Booking a transport for the next scheduled transport is only possible while the booking button green . If the button completely yellow, booking is only possible for the following transport, which will typically take place approximately 6-8 weeks later. A red button indicates that no booking is currently possible.
