It took a long time, but we have found what we hope is a satisfactory solution. Finding a reliable solution to the problem of solar power supply in Cuba proved to be much more difficult than initially thought.
Our first idea was simply to use the technology of the balcony power plants familiar here. However, upon closer inspection, this option proved unfeasible. A balcony power plant requires a stable public power grid to function. The next possibility was the so-called off-grid systems offered here, but these also didn't yield satisfactory results, as these systems are mostly based on 12 or 24 volts and, moreover, often involve considerable installation effort. Furthermore, the necessary certification and approval for transporting batteries is a real challenge.
In cooperation with a certified specialist company and the company Growatt, we finally managed to assemble a system that meets all the requirements in Cuba and, above all, our requirements for temperature stability and durability/performance guarantee.
