The Union

The non-profit organization Envios de Paz was founded by friends of Cuba. Together with relatives and friends of the country living here, we want to facilitate communication between peoples and improve living conditions on the ground

Main tasks

Among other social projects, one of the association's tasks is to organize affordable group transport to Cuba with our partners both here and there. Door-to-door service

The requirements

Our founding members include specialists in social communication, logistics, and economics with many years of professional experience

Our partners in Cuba

In Cuba, the association collaborates with non-governmental organizations such as church and charitable organizations, which are responsible for the import and receipt of donations and shipments and have sufficient experience in this field.

The organization Asociacion Envios de Paz

Envios de Paz is democratically organized. Decisions are made at the Annual General Meeting, to which all members are invited. However, to avoid conflicts of interest, only full members have voting rights. Supporting members who regularly donate to the association and honorary members who have served the association do not have voting rights. The board of directors is also elected by the General Meeting every two years. It consists of a chairman, a vice-chairman, and a treasurer, optionally with two additional members to assist him. The chairman and vice-chairman represent the association to the public. The treasurer is responsible for the proper accounting of the association's income and expenses.

Bienvenido Willkommen

The non-profit organization envios de paz focuses on providing
humanitarian aid to families in Cuba. By involving the family network, such as relatives and friends living abroad, as well as through humanitarian donations of money or goods, we strive to improve the living conditions of families, especially children and the elderly.

Actions are always taken for purely humanitarian reasons, without imposing
ideologies and with respect for the culture and tradition of the country and its people.

The need

Cuba's current economic situation increasingly necessitates new methods and alternatives for accessing urgently needed products on the island. The population's access to food, hygiene products, medicines, and other essential goods is hampered by external factors such as what is arguably the most severe economic crisis the country has ever experienced. Foreign currency shortages, limited credit lines, the US embargo, and other factors make it nearly impossible for the Cuban government to adequately provide for its population.
Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned problems, the country is unable to guarantee sufficient basic supplies for its citizens. This situation is causing concern among all Cubans living abroad and friends of the country. Many feel the need to help their relatives and friends in Cuba by sending remittances and packages of essential goods to improve their situation.
This project pursues no political agenda. Its sole aim is to bring aid to the Cuban people.

Our tasks / projects

  1. One of our main tasks is organizing groupage shipments to Cuba. Thanks to perfectly planned logistics and selected partners both locally and in Cuba, we have been able to reduce transport costs by more than 70% compared to standard transport costs.
  2. The Merienda Project.
Due to the current difficulties facing the country, many parents are unable to provide their children with sufficient food. Often, children leave home without breakfast or a packed lunch. We support church organizations that have addressed this problem. For example, the church / La Iglecia / Nuestra Señora de la Merced in Havana already runs a small kitchen where students can get a packed lunch and, with a bit of luck, a cup of milk on their way to school.
  3. Donations of goods and money to provide for young children with:
baby food, powdered milk, diapers (Pampers), clothing.
  4. Donations in kind from the pharmaceutical industry.
Urgently needed medications, disinfectants, dressings, medical equipment.
  5. Transport for other charities
Church or social organizations and partners with shared transport needs.
    (Additional or partial load)

All donations are passed on by us to local non-governmental organizations, churches, and charitable partners. This allows us to trace the correct distribution path.

Projects in progress / Planning

1. Solar Project: Electricity for Cuba.
2. Funding for domestic projects (Joint Venture).
